This privacy policy is intended and applies to users who visit the website http://clubarbitraje.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) of the Club Español del Arbitraje (hereinafter referred to as “CEA”). It only applies to information collected by the CEA through the Website and extends to subdomains that depend on the main domain such as socios.clubarbitraje.com

The CEA guarantees the protection of all personal data provided through the Website, in compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/979 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY?

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to regulate access to and use of the Website and the content presented on it. Access to the Website and the use of its contents and services by any person (the “User” or the “Users”) implies full and unreserved adherence to the Terms and Conditions of Use published on the Website at the time the User accesses it, committing the User to comply with the provisions set forth in it and any other provisions that may apply.

Access to and use of certain content and/or services may be subject to certain specific conditions that will supplement and/or modify the general conditions set out herein. Should there be a contradiction between the general conditions and the particular conditions, the terms agreed in the latter shall prevail. 

WHAT KIND OF DATA DO WE COLLECT? 

The personal data collected during registration on the Website are necessary to administer and manage the Website and to enforce our rights and those of our licensees.

The collection of personal data on the Website may include the following: name; date of birth; address; email; telephone; and billing data. In addition, in the events held by the CEA, audiovisual identification data could be collected through photographs and/or videos. 

WHAT ARE THE PURPOSES OF PROCESSING THE DATA OF OUR USERS? 

The processing of such personal data may have the following purposes according to the needs and interests of the User:

  1. User interested in visiting the Website and obtaining general information about the CEA and the services it offers.
  2. Allow the correct identification of the User.
  3. Make it possible to access restricted areas of the Website.
  4. Solve any doubt or query concerning the services offered by the CEA.
  5. Facilitate the provision of services offered by the CEA.
  6. Enable your contact with the CEA, including the notification of incidents.
  7. Users interest in becoming a CEA member:
  8. Manage the registration as a member requested by the User and include it in the list of members of the CEA, both in the hard copy register and in the one set up on the Website.
  9. To allow the User access to the services provided by the CEA.
  10. Send the invoice to the billing address specified by the User.
  11. Manage the payment of the corresponding invoice.
  12. Make the necessary arrangements to allow the User to use all the member services.

iii. User with CEA membership status:

  1. Keep the record in the list of CEA members, both in the hard copy record and in the one set up on the Website.
  2. Invoice and send the invoice to the address specified.
  3. Manage the payment of the corresponding invoice.
  4. Periodic mailing of newsletters and news alerts.
  5. Advertising information and news regarding the contents of the Website related to CEA services and events.

Without prejudice to the cases set out in points ii) and iii) above, and provided that the User has given his express consent, the data collected may also be used to carry out promotional and advertising activities for the services and activities of CEA or third-party collaborators, by any means, in particular by  email. Such advertising messages will bear the identification “advertising” and the User may express their wish or to receive it or not. Advertising activities may include information on CEA services, congresses, events, activities and/or publications.  

WHAT RIGHTS DOES THE USER HAVE AND HOW CAN THEY ENFORCE THEM? 

This data will be incorporated into the Registry of Processing Activities of the CEA. The User may exercise their ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, Opposition), Limitation of processing, Portability and Erasure of their personal data by means of a notification in writing to the Data Controller, CEA, to its offices located in Calle José Ortega y Gasset 22-24, C.P. 28006, Madrid, to the attention of the Department of Administration or; via email with the reference “Request of right (type) and name”, enclosing a copy of their D.N.I., to the e-mail address administracion@clubarbitraje.com. Without prejudice to the rights referred to above, users shall also have the right to make any complaints they deem appropriate before the supervisory authority.

HOW LONG MAY THE USER’S PERSONAL DATA BE STORED?

In the case of Users who contact CEA without being members , their personal data will be deleted as soon as the enquiry is resolved, unless those Users consent to the processing of their personal data to receive information from the CEA; in which case, the personal data provided shall be stored for as long as no deletion is requested. Once requested by the subject of the data, such data will be deleted from our servers.

In the case of members, the personal data will be deleted from the CEA database when the member requests to unsubscribe as a member of the CEA. 

WILL THE CEA TRANSFER THE USER’S DATA TO THIRD PARTIES?

CEA will not transfer the data provided to third parties without the prior and express consent of the interested party or further to judicial authorization.

It is reported that there are websites linked to ours and that these websites are not covered by this confidentiality regulation. Some linked websites may be controlled from outside the European Economic Area (EEA), and the information you provide may be subject to legislation that does not guarantee your data the same protection available in the EEA.

Links to the main social networks have been included as advertising tools through their corresponding icons. 

WHAT ARE THE OBLIGATIONS OF USERS? 

The User undertakes, under his sole responsibility, including but not limited to: (i) to make diligent use of the Website, the contents and/or services in accordance with the law, , in accordance with morality and public order; (ii) to make diligent use of their username and password and to keep both secret; (iii) to notify any impersonation by third parties; (iv) not to misrepresent their identity or that of a third party; (v) not to damage, disable or damage the Website or the contents and/or services, or the computer systems of the CEA or third parties. 

DOES THE CEA PROCESS THE PERSONAL DATA OF MINORS?

 

The CEA informs that it does not allow minors to provide personal data through the Website.

 HAS THE CEA ADOPTED SECURITY MEASURES REGARDING THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA? 

The CEA has adopted and maintains the necessary technical and organisational security measures to protect the personal data that users provide in order to prevent its alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access, taking into account the state of the technology, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed.

However, keeping in mind that no Internet transmission is 100% secure and that the stored data is not invulnerable, we cannot guarantee the security of our Website, databases or services, nor can we guarantee that the information you send us will not be intercepted while you are transmitting it to us via the Internet. We are not responsible for the actions of third parties.

CAN THE SECURITY POLICY BE AMENDED?

The CEA reserves the right to modify, change or update this policy in any way and you consent to be bound by such modifications, changes or updates. We will inform you of any substantial changes to this Privacy Policy by posting the updated policy with the date it was reviewed on this page; if you are registered, we will send an email to the address we have registered. Your continued use (including access to, visit and/or use of interactive devices) of our Website constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Policy and its updates. We invite you to periodically consult this Privacy Policy to stay informed about how we protect the personal information we collect. 

WHERE CAN YOU DIRECT YOUR NOTIFICATIONS? 

All notifications, requirements, agreements, consents, acceptances, approvals or communications that are necessary in accordance with the provisions of these General Conditions or that, in one way or another, are related to it, should be stated in writing, and sent to CEA by post to Calle José Ortega y Gasset 22-24, C.P. 28006, Madrid, for the attention of the Administration Department.
